FREDRIK NOREN
IMAGE/JACKEDWARDS
The Swede Fredrik Noren is back on the 450 for the outdoor championship and is excited to get back at the front of the pack. Noren struggled on the 250 in his first full supercross season and even had problems qualifying for main events. So I think it is safe to say he is happy to be back racing the Great Outdoors where he has had
so much success in the past. He has earned a pair of fill in rides for Factory Honda and has impressed in those rides. Noren has consistently improved in every outdoor season since coming to the states. Last year
in 2015 he reeled off three straight seventh place overalls at three of the toughest tracks of the year in Red Bud, Millville, and Washougal. He got 2016 started with a pretty solid come from behind thirteenth place in the first moto but then crashed out of the second moto ending his day prematurely. Despite that fall, Noren is fresh and ready to improve upon that thirteenth place moto finish in Glen Helen.
