JUSTIN BOGLE
Justin Bogle
is coming into Hangtown healthy and riding a wave
of confidence out
of the Supercross series. The Factory Connection
Geico Honda 450 rookie began his supercross season shaky and suffered some injuries. He recuperated and returned midway through February and slowly got better and better.
He flirted with some top tens here and there throughout
the season when
he finally broke through and had some complete main
events. He finished inside the top ten in three of the last four races including a fourth and a heat race win in muddy Las Vegas. That had to considerably help
his confidence for outdoors where he has had moderate success in the 250 class.
In his two full seasons in the class in 2013 and 2014 he was always a top five threat. He never secured
an overall victory but he
had his fair share of overall podiums and was in the hunt every weekend. Bogle, despite being a rookie, does have some outdoor 450 experience. He raced three rounds on the bigger bike
at the end of last season after being injured for a majority of the season in
the 250 class. He had some great top fifteen rides in his short time on the machine and maybe that experience will be of value to him in Hangtown.
