MARTIN DAVALOS
IMAGE/JACKEDWARDS
With a whirlwind of series change, contract rumors filling the air, and rosters being deteriorated,
many rumors and stories are left to the wayside in preparation for the races and stories that are to
come. Being a veteran of the 250 outdoor series, the 29 year old has been competing in this division since 2006. He sheds a light of hope to all of those in the vet classes, and has recently inked a few deals that are unknown to many of the public. AARP has offered to step up, and provide Davalos with discounted products for the national campaign; he’s been offered full social security benefits, although a tad below the required age of 65, and a well-known denture manufacturer has offered to provide Davalos with a mouth full of teeth for life, if he podiums at selected stops on the outdoor circuit. With enticing offers such as those above, many onlookers have now realized where the boost of off-season speed has come from; he’s charging hard to fulfill his sponsorship obligations. All jokes aside, Davalos has raw speed that translates to any type of racing venue, whether it is Supercross or motocross. The Husqvarna team has seen what’s instilled at his core, and kept the faith in the Ecuadorian native. Here’s to the first stop at Hangtown, and best of luck to a spectacular 2016 season.
