pick for the main event. The gate dropped on the main event and the Team Green Kawasaki rider imme- diately found himself in a closely contested battle with his teammate, Ryder DiFrancesco. The two Team Dunlop Elite riders were neck and neck for the majority of the race, but Reynolds was able to success- fully keep his younger counterpart at bay until the checkered flag, fending off the charge throughout the five-lap sprint to the finish line. In the Supermini 2 class, it was the same three regulars up front in the heat race as Reynolds, DiFrancesco, and Hawkins all vied for the podium positions. He settled into 2nd position in the early stages of the heat race as he matched the lines and pace of Hawkins on the open- ing lap, waiting patiently for an opportunity to pounce on the lead. Reynolds grasped his chance on the second lap and sprung into the lead, keeping his concentration on the empty track ahead of him as he rode flawlessly to the win with just a half-second to spare ahead of DiFrancesco.
