Casey Cochran has been a regular cham- pionship contender at many of the high- profile amateur motocross races around the country for many consecutive years. 2018 was no different as the Suzuki rider put him- self on the podium at Spring A Ding Ding, Junior Moto X, the Loretta Lynn Amateur National Championship, and Mini Os -- not to mention a title at the Daytona RCSX in the 85cc (9-11) class. Any rider with a total of three championships at the Ranch over the course of their career demands respect when they line up on the gate and that’s exactly the position that Cochran finds
himself in whenever he suits up to race. The Georgia native finished the 2018 season strong with a plethora of podium finishes
at the Thor Winter Olympics and he was especially impressive on the supercross track, collecting second and third place overall finishes on his RM85. If his speed on the supercross track at Gatorback Cycle Park was any indication, Cochran would be one of the favorites in the 85cc ranks for the opening round of the Supercross Futures
in Glendale, Arizona. The Suzuki rider was expected to be a regular contender in all of the 85cc divisions, but he reached the
