Suzuki must have a smile on their face with Bisceglias performances, not only is he a fill in rider but he is also a rookie to this 450 field. After the opening laps of the first moto Matt was trailing outside of the top 15, he put his head down and moved toward the top 10. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider moved into 10th after a
pass on privateer Kyle Chisolm at the midway point. He then set sail for the CycleTraders Kawasaki rider of Rodrigues
for 9th. It might have taken Matt the whole second half of the moto but he got the job done and put his machine in 9th at the checkers. Nothing can put a smile on your face like a holeshot, other than a moto win of course. The 30 second board turned side ways and the 450 riders where ready for battle, Matt got a huge jump and got his first 450 holeshot. Unfortunately Bisceglia moved down in the order quickly. He held 5th place for the first ten minutes but a lot of fast riders where making their way through and Matt found himself battling to stay inside of the top 10. Rodriguez came back with redemption in the second race and made a late pass on Bisceglia at nearly the same time Matt made the pass on him in the first moto. 9-12 gave Matt 11th overall, there is one round left, can the fill in rider secure another top ten finish to end the season on a high note.
