Mammoth Mountain, a place where both landscape and track architecture ooze and flow like rivers of honey, attracting bears and numerous critters of all kind.
Throughout the wilderness this weekend however, there was another creature wandering the forest; a predator, roaming for his next feast, searching for competition to devour.
A Hunter by nature, Hunter Yoder traveled through the California brush to secure his spot on the pristine launch pad, and come away with spectacular results in the process.
As the sun peaked through the rugged thicket and cast its light upon center stage for day one, Yoder drew his pin for the unraveling of chaos from which was about to ensue; the 65cc Open class. A division littered with both newcomers and veterans alike.
