No carryon or extra bag fees, window seat if preferred, and a stewardess on constant call, are all exclusive details offered when aboard the Jett of Mr. Reynolds. The Bakersfield native made the mere 4-hour trek to Mammoth Lakes in hopes of creating a positive forecast for the remaining nationals of the year, and he was successful in doing so.
As the field waited with lurking enthusiasm in the staging area, names were finally called for the 85cc 9-12 year old class. Placed in heat two, Reynolds checked every gage in the cockpit, and blasted off to an early race lead, claiming the win. As the runoff neared, the crowd began to line the fence, eagerly awaiting the battle that was about to take place. They would be rewarded with a dogfight amongst Hunter Cross, Chance Hymas, and Reynolds; a remarkable effort, Reynolds would bring a bronze medal back to the trailer.
