the Factory red Bull KtM rider came to Daytona to claim the win that eluded him last week.
Marvin took to the Daytona track and managed to log the 4th fastest lap in qualifying practice. Feeling the confidence gained from last week’s performance, the #25 made quick passes to get into the lead early on in the heat race. Quickly finding the flow of the track, Musquin cruised on to a heat race win. this was a great start that proved Marvin was ready to battle tonight for a main
event win.
Using the great gate pick that he acquired from a heat race win, the Red Bull Factory KTM rider started off in third place for the night. Every fan awaited for Marvin to pull the trigger and make this race a three way battle for the lead. Musquin never could find the speed to reach up to Ryan Dungey and Eli Tomac. Using the great start as a buffer, Marvin held a strong third place from start to finish. No rider challenged him nor did he challenge the lead two. Third place is a great result on a quiet and tough night for the KTM rookie.
