The highlight of Bradley Taft’s weekend was going undefeated in the 450 Pro class in rather dominating fashion. His starts were on point and he made things easy on himself and his cycle Trade Rock River Yamaha by pulling the holeshot and managing the gap from the front of the race. In the first moto, he got out to a picture perfect start ahead Tristan charboneau and began to pull away from the Geico Honda rider. Another Geico amateur, chase Sexton, was battling towards the front after starting fifth,
but he wasn’t able to catch up to Bradley before the checkered flag. Taft rode a faultless race at the front of the field, hit his marks, and ended the day on the top step of the podium. The third moto was practically identical to the first one except Taft pulled the holeshot ahead of Orange Brigade sensation Sean Cantrell. Cantrell was quickly passed by Noah Mcconahy for second position, but Taft had already accumulated a 2.5 second lead at that point. He was able to double the gap in the middle of the race, running a 1:26.39
on lap four - the only rider to drop his laptime below the 1:27 mark. His ability to push the pace from the front of the field is a dangerous combination coupled with his starting ability. The Missouri native stood on the top step of the podium yet again, therefore claiming the 450
Pro title in dominating fashion. The 250 Pro class started off with another holeshot and yet another dominant victory.
