In moto 2, Jordan Bailey got one of his best starts of his weekend with Falk in tow and the pair of them managed to quickly move into first and second ahead of Tyler Rosa. They duked it out for the top spot, but Bailey just had the edge on Falk despite the KTM rider setting the fastest lap of
the weekend in 250 B, just over a full second faster than Bailey’s. The third moto was smooth sailing yet again for Falk as he got a good jump off the gate and forced himself into first place on the second lap in front of Tyler Rosa. From that point on, it was all about consistent lap times under the 1:30 mark and he cruised to another title in the 250 B class with a 9.7 second gap over second place Jordan Bailey. The first moto of the 250 B Limited class provided Falk with the roughest start that he had encoun- tered all weekend, having to fight back from mid-pack alongside Jake Masterpool throughout the race. He had made up good time and recovered twelve positions in two laps, but a mistake on lap three demoted him back to tenth position in the middle of the race. Falk was able to recover for a fourth place finish which would be his only result of the entire weekend in which he didn’t finish on the podium. The next two motos went much smoother, essentially turning out to be a carbon copy of one another - two holeshots and two victories. There’s no better way to do it. Throw in another fastest lap time of the weekend for good measure? Sure. Mitchell Falk has been on fire this year and the culmination of his results, confidence, and top level equipment could be a scary prospect for all of his competitors when it comes time to throw down at the Ranch later this year.
