BRADLEY TAFT
Bradley Taft really made a name for himself at the 2014 Loretta Lynn’s National championship where he left with the number one plate in the 250 B Limited class. He won two motos and ended with a third place finish in order to claim the title over the likes of Ryan Surratt, chase Bell, and
current Troy Lee Designs KTM professional rider Alexander Frye. The Cycle Trader Rock River Yamaha rider built off this result and added another Loretta Lynn’s title to his collection in 2015 when he won a stacked 450 A class ahead of riders such as Darian Sanayei, Josh Osby, and Benny Bloss (all of which are riding professionally this year.) Taft competed in the Amateur All-Star event at the 2015 Monster Energy Cup and earned a sixth place finish. It’s an honor for any amateur rider to be invited to race the Monster Energy Cup and it speaks volumes about the amount of talent that Bradley has in order to just miss out on the
top five at such a stacked and prestigious event. Following up on the MEC and continuing to improve his SX skills, Bradley threw a wrench in the works at the Daytona RCSX and beat Team Green superstar Austin Forkner to the overall victory by way of two moto wins. Despite a twelfth in the second moto, Bradley’s domination in the other two catapulted him to the top step of the podium and cemented him as a real threat going forward in the amateur ranks this coming year.
