PHIL NICOLETTI
“Filthy” Phil Nicoletti has been very vocal about his dislike for supercross racing or “death-cross” as he likes to call it. Being just a fill-in rider for Monster Energy Supercross, Phil typically does not have to race much of it. Unfortunately for Phil he had to race almost the entire supercross series this year due to injuries at the JGR Yamaha team. Nicoletti weathered the storm of sx and is back in his element, the great outdoors. Starting off the series with a 10th overall at Hangtown and a 8th overall at Glen Helen, Phil is currently 9th in points and has stayed consistently in the top ten each
moto. Coming into Colorado this weekend for round 3 of the Pro Motocross series, all the teams are going to be searching for extra horse power. With an uphill start and the JGR Yamaha’s being known for power, look for Nicoletti and the rest of the JGR riders to be
up front early in each moto.
