As the gate dropped in 450 moto one it was no surprise to see a couple of JGR Yamaha’s inside the top five. Phil Nicoletti along side his teammate Justin Barcia crossed the line in fourth and fifth on lap number one. Things were looking promising for Nicoletti until a crash on lap two sent him back to fifteenth place. The filthy luck continued late in the race when the Thunder Valley track caused
Phil to have a big get off, ending his race immediately. This would be the end of Nicoletti’s day as he did not line up for moto two. Round 3 of the Lucas Oil Motocross series was one to forget for Filthy, but luckily for him he will have time to regroup as
there is a weekend off in the series before we head to High Point.
