JOSH GRANT
Now in the latter portion of his career, Josh Grant is one of the bigger fan favorites of the sport. He has that laid back vibe to him that resonates among his peers and fan in his native southern California. He wasn’t able to strike a deal that felt right to him prior to the 2016
season leaving him without a team. So this guy was just chilling at home and riding for fun in the hills and at Glamis to start the season. Then after some time, he and his inner circle decided he should go race the Daytona supercross. He effectively surprised everybody by finishing a strong seventh place on one of the most grueling races of the year. He originally was just going to do the one race and head back home but his former team Monster Energy Kawasaki offered him
a fill in ride for the injured Wil Hahn and the rest is history. He finished the 2016 supercross season with some strong rides and has kicked off the outdoor season with some very solid and consistent motos. His 8-8 and 6-6 moto scores at the first two rounds speak volumes because one of his biggest problems throughout his career has been putting two good motos together. If he can keep it up, JG33 could have a very successful season.
