A newly designated SmarTop/MotoConcepts team rider by Mike and Tony Alessi, Cameron Mcadoo is headed for Texas off of a very successful RC Amateur Supercross
a few weeks ago with three 2nd place finishes behind the nearly flawless Forkner. The “if you ain’t first, you’re last” motto may have been a bit too surreal for Cameron in Florida but the ClubMX rider from South Carolina means business and is ready to turn up the heat. With Forkner in attendance for his final A class event, Mcadoo has one last opening to close the door on the fellow Kawasaki rider before sending him off to the exclusive professional ranks. With Mcadoo getting the majority of the starts in Daytona, he’ll need to continue the technique in an effort to keep the #214 behind him the whole way home. It’s only been a couple weeks since then, so both riders will be at very similar competitive speeds with focus being the ultimate necessity. In a class where one mistake means the difference between memory and misery, the #812 machine of Mcadoo is putting all the chips on the table at Freestone in order to overtake his arch rival.
