MATT BISCEGLIA
Matt Bisceglia is in his first season with his new team MAD Racing Suzuki. It was a big transition for him in the offseason after spending his first few years as a pro with Geico Honda. Not only did he have to transition to a new team, Bisceglia dealt with injuries and was not sure if he would be able to line it up at the beginning of
the season. That all added up to the Texas rider struggling at the first two rounds of the series. An eleventh at the first round in Atlanta and a nineteenth place finish last weekend in Daytona after suffering problems early in the race. The result in Daytona did not reflect
his performance as Bisceglia got
a decent start and worked into 5th before running into those problems. We have seen him in the top 5 multiple times in seasons past so these first few rounds have definitely not been what he was anticipating coming into the season. But if Bisceglia can get another good start like he did in Daytona, there is a good chance he can return to his old form and contend in and around the top 5.
