STILEZ
ROBERTSON
Stilez Robertson has long since es- tablished himself as one of the peren- nial championship contenders in the constantly fluctuating field of amateur motocross talent. The Team Green Ka- wasaki rider made his big bike debut at the Motoplayground Race at Ponca City last year, immediately finding success on the KX250F as he found his way onto the podium. He backed it up at Mini O’s by winning a supercross title at the begin- ning of the week, but a scary crash while battling for the lead on the outdoor track ended his week early. Robertson began the 2018 season with a couple of solid results at the Monster Energy Amateur Supercross in Anaheim and he looked as if he would turn some heads during the scheduled spring events, but an injury sustained in practice at Freestone forced him onto the sidelines. Nonetheless, Robertson has done enough to guaran- tee that when he’s back on the bike, he’ll be mixing it up at the front of the pack.
CROCKETT MYERS
Crockett Myers has quickly began
to make a dent in the Supermini class throughout the 2018 season, proving himself to be one of the top racers in a seemingly infinite pool of talent. The Suzuki rider came away from the Daytona RCSX with a little more to be desired from his results, but he still managed to score a third place in his Supermini 1 heat race, subsequently amounting to a fourth place overall in the class. He ramped things up at the inaugural Spring
A Ding Ding in Texas a couple of days later, but a DNF in the opening Supermini 2 moto would ultimately spoil his chances of standing on the overall podium. Nonetheless, Myers put the DNF behind him and went out to earn a second place finish in the second moto, sending a message to his competitors prior to Freestone. The Team Dunlop Elite rider showed consistent results at the JS7 Spring Championship, earning a duo of
third place finishes in both Supermini classes. Myers narrowly missed out on the overall podium yet again, but he still managed to score a fourth place overall in the Supermini 2 divi- sion against some of the fastest mini riders in the nation.
