MAX MILLER
Following a solid start to the season throughout his appearances at Monster Energy Super- cross as well as the various spring events, Max Miller has shown continual improvement up to this point in the season. The Oregon native put himself in the right positions at the 2018 FMF California Classic as he hunted down another number one plate, repeatedly proving himself as one of the fastest riders on the track. He contested the FMF 2 Stroke Challenge, the 125cc (12-16) B/C class and both Schoolboy classes; scoring impressive results in all of the above. A couple of bad motos towards the end of the weekend hindered his overall scores in the Schoolboy division, but Miller rose to the occasion on his KTM 125 in the FMF 2 Stroke Challenge class as well as the 125cc (12-16) B/C division. He won one third of the motos that he raced between the two classes and only finished off the podium on one occasion, compiling a first and third overall finish be- tween the two divisions. Miller was practically unbeatable in the FMF 2 Stroke Challenge as he started up front and finished up front in each and every moto, showcasing his undeniable speed and skill on a two-stroke.
PARKER
MASHBURN
Parker Mashburn felt right at home as he started off the 2018 spring races at Un- derground MX. The Texan spends his time riding, training, and living at the facility that hosted the inaugural Spring A Ding Ding race, leading him to a trio of moto wins throughout the weekend. The Orange Bri- gade backed rider contested four separate B classes and found success in all of them, recording three moto victories and a couple of podium finishes over the course of both race days. Mashburn recorded two second place overall finishes in Schoolboy 2 and 450 B, but a DNF in the 250 B class held him back from achieving a number one plate. The Texan was fired up and eager to win a championship heading into Freestone and his determination was immediately reflected in his results. Mashburn competed in eight different motos throughout the week at Freestone and only finished off the po- dium on one occasion; racking up one third, four seconds, and two wins. He won both 450 B championships and finished second overall in the 250 B Limited class, capping off an exceptional month of March at the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship.
