DAXTON BENNICK
Team Dunlop Elite’s Daxton Bennick has already made a name for himself as one of the standout riders in the minicycle ranks. The North Carolina native’s results at the first annual Spring A Ding Ding speak for themselves as he finished all six of his motos within the top five, earn- ing podium finishes and two wins to boot. The Orange Brigade backed rider’s skills shone through the most in the 85cc (9-11) division where he was able to take both victories, receiving a number one plate for his efforts. Bennick moved onto the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship and found the same sort of success in the (9-11) division, compiling a second and first place finish in order to earn himself another championship. The Team Dunlop Elite rider encountered his fair share of misfortune in the other classes that he contested, but two back-to-back number one plates speak for themselves.

BRASWELL
After a couple of decent finishes at the inaugural Spring A Ding Ding race at Underground MX, Caden Braswell was eager to find the podium at the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship. The Team Dunlop Elite rider had a full plate for the week of racing in Wortham, contest- ing both Supermini classes, Mini
Sr. classes, and the 85cc (9-13) division. He had his ups and downs at Freestone, but his speed was undeniable from Tuesday to Satur- day. Braswell’s best finishes came on his KTM 85, scoring a second overall in Mini Sr. 2 and a third overall in the 85cc (9-13) division. In addition to his multitude of podium results, Braswell won the first moto of the (9-13) division, proving he has what it takes to run at the front of a stacked field. A couple of inconsis- tent finishes and bad luck hindered his overall performances in the other classes, but a couple of podium finishes and a win in one of the most competitive classes in amateur motocross is no easy feat.
