DJ WEBER
Following his seemingly unending streak of top results and podium fin- ishes throughout the major spring races of 2018, DJ Weber carried his positive momentum into the month of April. The Arizona native maintained his podium speed throughout the Southwest Area Qualifier at Glen Helen, finishing on the podium in three out of four of the class- es that he entered, including a victory in the 450 C division. Weber’s speed only improved as the Arizona native trudged onward to the 2018 FMF Cal Classic, finishing on the overall podium in three out of four of his classes yet again. The Husqvarna rider was incredibly impres- sive in the 250 C Limited division as he put together a first and second place result that amounted in a first place overall finish. Additionally, Weber won another moto in the 250 C division that contributed to his second overall finish and his consistency was to be lauded
in the 450 C division, finishing all of his races on the podium which resulted in a second place finish.
ENZO TEMMERMAN
Enzo Temmerman absolutely tore down the competition, at the 2018 FMF Cal Classic. Living somewhat
in close proximity to Pala Raceway, many thought he might have slight bit of an upper hand, in regards to being accustomed to the atmosphere. But my goodness, no one expected the pure consistency and aggression the number twenty-one harnessed, once the races began. Throughout the du- ration of twelve different gate-drops, ranging from (65cc Open) to 85cc (9-11), his worst finish was a mere eighth! He then had eleven other outings, consisting of sixth or better, including a moto win. With cumula- tive overall scores of two fourths,
a third, and silver-medal, Temmer- man could be seen walking back to the truck, with his hands absolutely full of trophies; (multiple trips were needed in fact). It’s a feeling he’s used to, yet desires so much more of. He’s been a normality in national attention for quite sometime, yet for 2018, he’s truly ready to step out of the shadow’s. Temmerman’s camp is ready, willing, and able to do what- ever it takes, in order to succeed in this sport.
