If you find yourself traveling throughout the central United States area, and are looking for a motocross race to attend, you’ll be sure to find an astounding young woman to watch. Cami Samples has been hustling through the Texas and Oklahoma area for years, and has made her identity known on the national scale in recent memory. Winning non-stop
on the local circuit, she’s continued to thrive, even on the scale of full-gates and bright lights. Motoring through the pack at Freestone, she came away with a very remarkable second place, in the Girls Sr. (12-16) division. Results like that, paired with top three’s in Daytona, and top ten’s at Loretta’s, make her a major icon in her class, with all of those behind constantly clawing to challenge her. She’s resilient in her journey to the reach the top, and with the results she’s been putting in as of late; we don’t see anything being able to get in her way.
PRESTON KILROY
Yet another member of the Orange Brigade came to play, at the 2018 FMF Cal Classic. With the School- boy classes packed to the brim with daunting talent, there were many guesses on who exactly would be in the top five. And too bad Kilroy didn’t bet serious money on him- self, as the number eighty couldn’t be denied in his expedition for the front. Six top ten moto finishes, including a second and third, were enough to generate overall scores of duplicate fifths. While many would bask in the glory, and be ecstatic with their accomplishments, Kilroy pondered his performance
on the trip back home. Although he was satisfied, he would begin to break his performance down piece by piece. And that’s exactly why he’s one to watch out for, as his sense for analyzing is unreal. He’s willing to study and put in the time, truly believing that he can outwork anyone else behind the gate.
