VANN MARTIN
Vann Martin is coming into Foxboro looking to make the main event in the inaugural event at Gillette Stadium. The 2016 season has been a struggle for the rider from Texas but it hasn’t altered his drive to compete week in and week out. Martin has proved he has the speed to crack the main event when he qualified in Daytona, arguably the toughest race on the circuit. Unfortunately, the starts during the other rounds have not been there and they have severely
hurt his chances at the mains. He has been on the verge of qualifying through the LCQ for two straight weeks so that can only light a fire under him this weekend in an attempt to not make it three straight. All the Honda of Houston rider needs is a good start in the heat race and he can move straight onto the main event. He has the speed to do it, now he just needs to put all the pieces together and we will see him in the field of twenty-two.
