CLAY QUICK
If there is any sort of label that carries a racer’s legend through time it would be their last name. Luckily enough for the #78 KTM of the RidesUnlimited team, his last name is not only his label,
it illustrates who he is as a racer. Meet Clay Quick, out of Burleson, Texas. A super-competitive, youthful rider, Quick is a threat in the Mini Sr. and classes. Although he missed a large chunk of the 2015 season, including Loretta’s, due to a shoulder injury, Quick continues to remain a constant name around the industry. Going through the ups and downs of Amateur racing is something every racer is accustomed to, as very few achieve instant success around the demanding amateur tour. For Clay,
he continues to bounce back and has recorded several top finishes over the last few years. Maybe it’s due to the family owned, two-track training facility back home, Quick’s Ranch, where Clay trains full-time. Either way, I’m sure the 78 of Quick uses that property to his advantage. Already with a couple wins in the Texas Winter Series under his belt for 2016, Quick looks to display his capabilities on a national platform here at the RCSX. The Daytona track is tough, but with confidence and family support, Quick should be seriously considered as a top-level contender.
