All animals have legends. It is the way we learn how to deal with life without having to actually experience the situation. The horses’ legend about the unicorns was very interesting. The most obvious characteristic about unicorns was not their horn but their ugly behavior toward others. Making fun of or ridiculing others just to be funny or make yourself seem important, are very Thumbs Down behaviors.
When you engage in this “unicorn” type of behavior, you may feel “smart” and think that you are popular. However, just as with the unicorns, in time others will not want to be around someone who is always making fun of others or is always “negative.” And just like with the unicorns, once you have acted this way for a while, it will be very hard to change. You will not understand why others avoid you. “Unicorn” behavior which may get laughs now will cause you many difficulties as you grow older.
