The first character the Young Girl meets in her garden is the Rabbit. The poor, pitiful rabbit who will just be so hurt if she changes the garden. He was trying to make her feel responsible for his happiness. If he was unhappy, she was supposed to feel guilty. And you know what ... it worked.
You may have “rabbits” in your life. These are people who try to get you to do things that benefit them even if it does not benefit you or may even get you in trouble. You fall into the old trap of telling yourself that it is your fault if they don’t get want they want or are unhappy or not liked by everyone. This is an example of peer pressure, using guilt to control you.
