with my mother and I played a key role in my brother’s education
and paying bills. I was focused in finishing up college, buying an
apartment for my brothers and working a lot in a multinational
company to grow professionally. So, he said to me: “I accept it. I
will build a great business I already have in my mind and, do not
worry, they will work with me and have a great future”. I laughed
with surprise and told him: “You are crazy!”. Paulo has always been
a visionary and dreamt big things. Well, that is what happened.
Not only he became a mentor to them, but he also transformed
their lives forever, teaching them the importance of hard work, of
seeking applied knowledge, of entrepreneurship, of always seeking
the next level, of perfecting themselves, of respecting the Lord, of
living by the principles and values you preach and, ultimately,
made them great leaders who inspire hundreds of young people
and executives in the Ideal Trends Group!
Challenges of living together and the benefits of walking
together
The last 15 years have been an amazing journey in evolution.
We helped each other in all areas, we have a lot of complicity in
life goals and objectives, but as not everything is perfect, we also
have professional or family clashes, like every couple. He always
jokes in our meetings, saying: “Come on, Roseli, I already know
you have a different point of view”, and, of course, I answer: “Yes,
you are right”, however, we know we complement each other in
many aspects and having different points of view help a lot in
decision making.
Living with Paulo means living outside of the comfort zone,
because every day is a different day of learning and to become a
better version of yourself than yesterday. He is always thoughtful

in his statements, never fails to give feedback and align some point
that will help you to be a better person in your personal or pro-
fessional life.
His simplicity and lifestyle habits are also important to highli-
ght, as he has an enviable discipline. Talking about daily physical
exercises, for example, he learned how to swim in less than 4 weeks!
He is also intense in his daily applied studies. These are two things
he does not give up in his routine.
We live a simple life, without ostentation or exaggeration, and
it is in the simple walks with the children or even enjoying oursel-
ves at home when we recharge the batteries and get energized. As
he is used to say: God, Family and Business.
When Paulo sets a goal, he is extremely focused, demanding
and has an extraordinary mobilization power to accomplish what
he has determined. I have already asked him a few times where he
gets so much energy from, and he always replies: Faith, Purpose,
Consistency and Results on Earth and in Heaven!
Ideal visionary entrepreneur
Paulo always could easily identify opportunities and always had
a spectacular capability of connecting with people. He makes an
impact wherever he goes! He can identify an opportunity wherever
we go, it is impressive!
Be it in a park, a bakery, a church, a small business or whate-
ver. Even in a dental office I went to do some aesthetic treatments
once; he went there for an evaluation and came out with several
ideas, soon after he closed a partnership. A little over a year later,
the business has tripled in revenue and in the second year, four
more clinics were purchased. He also launched a powerful lead ge-
