In Our Society | GKAS 2025
On February 7th, we broke records by having over 1500 children attend our Give Kids A Smile event at the
Cradle of Aviation Museum. Close to 300 volunteers provided the kids with dental exams, eye screenings,
hearing tests, oral hygiene instructions, nutrition information, fluoride treatments and sealants. In addition
the kids toured the museum and went home with a NCDS backpack filled oral hygiene items and a toy as
well as an insulated lunch tote with milk and an apple courtesy of Farmland Fresh Dairies. In addition, the
L.I. Nets provided all volunteers, students, and teachers with free tickets to an upcoming basketball game.
