President’s Report

Happy May 2021 to all my Arizona Paralyzed Veterans of America Brothers
and Sisters.

If you remember I stated in April that I want to encourage you all to stay
hydrated. As we move through the Spring and Summer months
temperatures can and will increase to unsafe levels. Please stay hydrated
and stay safe.

It is with a sad heart that I am informing you Bobby Anderson the spinal
cord injury clinic social worker for the Phoenix VA has retired after 18+
years. It will be hard to replace her. We will miss her but we wish her the
best in her future endeavors.

Les Craddock was nominated and voted in by the Arizona board of
directors as the National Director for the Arizona Chapter. Les has been a
long time board member for the Chapter. I am positive will perform his
services as National Director at the highest level while influencing decisions
in the organization of Paralyzed Veterans of America at a national level.

The election committee will start calling Arizona Chapter members
regarding the 2021 elections in June. If you receive a call from the
committee they will tell you who they are and the reason for the call. They
will let you know what positions are available and ask you if you are
interested in one of these positions.

For the board of directors our next meeting will be held on May 27, 2021 at
10 A.M. via zoom. If you are not a board member but you are a member of
the Chapter and you would like to attend a meeting and possibly become a

link.
