SECURITY NEWS

During the month of March security responded to 107 calls for service and issued 21 Notice of Rules Violations (NORV’s).
During the month of April security responded to 121 calls for service and issued 11 Notice of Rules Violations (NORV’s).
To operate a motorized vehicle on DCBE streets you must have a valid driver license and have it with you while operating the vehicle.
Every summer we receive calls about kids jumping off the bridge at Fairway and Country Club Drive, please let them know that for safety reasons this is not allowed and a NORV will be

Valid Driver’s License
5. All persons driving motorized vehicles of any description (including golf carts) must have a valid driver’s license. Such license must be produced at the request of any Security personnel.
6. Effective 1/1/2019 Golf Carts and ATV’s A. Golf carts and ATV’s shall not be operated with more passengers than can be safely seated on the golf cart or ATV. No standing is permitted.
B. All occupants in the Golf Cart or ATV must be seated when the vehicle is in operation and keep hands, arms, legs, and feet within the confines of the Golf Cart or ATV.
C. Drivers of Golf Carts and ATV’s that are not equipped with turn indicators shall use appropriate hand signals.
D. The towing of any person is not permitted, i.e.: skate boards, bicycles, etc.
Emergency Response
Security personnel are usually the first responders to emergencies in DCBE and sometimes have a difficult time finding the right address due to missing numbers or numbers that are
completely gone. If your home and/or mailbox don’t CLEARLY show your address, if it is not lit up or reflective and or unreadable, it can delay vital emergency help to you or your neighbors.
Minutes will seem like hours when you are waiting for help! Please make sure your address is complete and visible from all directions of approaching vehicles.
