IMPACT SURVEY & REPORT 2019









                 RESEARCH METHODOLOGY





                 This study was designed to generate an understanding of TPG’s activities to date from
                 the perspective of the users, volunteers, staff and service providers. Our information
                 gathering and research into the impact of our activities used both quantitative and
                 qualitative methods and included using the following methods:
                 •  One to one interviews;
                 •  Observations (the results
                   only being included with the
                   consent of the individuals
                   involved);
                 •  Questionnaires and surveys
                   (enabling us to collect
                   standardised (and therefore
                   comparable) information
                   from a number of people
                   and groups.





                 DEMOGRAPHICS





                 Almost all of the individuals and groups that took part in this information and impact
                 gathering exercise were either resident of, or based in our local community, Ellesmere
                 Port. A breakdown of the respondents is as follows:

                 The surveys and interviews had a total of 392 responses. Ellesmere Port locality has 60,400
                 residents, accounting for nearly a fifth of Cheshire West and Chester’s total population.
