þ In-class assessment: The exams/quizzes will ask students to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding

                  True/False, fill-in and multiple choices.

              þ Take-home assessment:
v Students will discuss and write their responses to the assigned questions. Each student is expected to read,
keep a professional journal on the assigned materials, e.g., readings, discussion mini-cases, and/or critical
                       thinking questions.
v The analyses will be graded on organization (applying appropriate frameworks), using context appropriate

v Each student (not the facilitator) will complete a class reflection/reading journal.

þ Missed assignments cannot be made up. Students with a valid excuse (e.g., medical) for missing an exam may
make-up an exam by arrangement. Students who miss an exam deadline without an acceptable excuse will
                  receive a zero.

Please refer to the detailed course outline for your CYKD rubric, scheduled assignment
