DESCRIPTION, TEAM TERM PROJECT PRESENTATION
TIME DURATION (MAX /MIN) GOAL: 35 / 30 MINUTES
Students will undertake one term-long project designed to model a real-life application of the concepts
reviewed in the course. The students should be prepared to present the project to the class during Final
Exams Week.
þ Upload your PowerPoint® and any additional handout materials (if applicable, Executive Summary et al., /word
document) to the CANVAS® Team Term Project assignment folder prior to the start of the final class
session, e.g., due date/time.
þ Your team can meet in-person, or your team can assume each member lives in a different state or country
using virtual/electronic meetings, e.g., ZOOM®.
þ One electronic copy (PowerPoint®) presentation and handout (e.g., Executive Summary; and information
team deems pertinent to the project) will be submitted to the instructor via CANVAS®. Please keep a copy
for your own records.
þ If you have a five-member team, you will present 30-minutes + five minutes (Q&A) = 35 minutes.
þ Professional business attire is expected.
þ Students will grade their own and their teammates’ contribution to the project. A student’s project grade will
be adjusted upward or downward according to his or her contribution to the project. A student’s project grade

þ Set-up: The team must be ready to present prior to the start of class. Please upload your PowerPoint® to
CANVAS® prior to the final class session.
þ Missed assignments cannot be made up. Students with a valid excuse (e.g., medical) for missing the
assignment may make-up by arrangement. Students who miss the assignment deadline without an acceptable
excuse will receive a zero.
