ASSIGNMENT INFO: REMINDERS
«WEEKLY HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS«
þ TAKEHOME ASSESSMENT PART I & II JOURNAL
o Each student may opt of THREE written take-home chapter assessment/ journal entry.
1. For example, each student is required to complete the two written responses* (short essay/sentence format)
to the assigned textbook chapter/case questions. You will be assigned “odd or even question numbers.
2. Furthermore, you are required to select four key concepts/terms from your chapter reading and define /
discuss in your take-home assessment/journal entry.
3. Finally, please add two key learning take-aways from the assigned book club readings.
o FYI: Essay question defined as: an examination question that requires an answer in a sentence, paragraph, or
short composition.
o If you are a facilitator, you do not have to submit a written homework /journal assignment. The
facilitator(s) must submit a PowerPoint® to CANVAS®. In summary: You may opt of four take-home
journal entry assignments = three opt outs and one facilitator.
þ On specified dates, the instructor will request you to upload your required assignment to CANVAS® prior to the start
of the class session. Organize your assignment in the following manner via word document “as one working
document”.
è Your DRAFT journal assignment will be reviewed as completed or not completed prior to the evaluation dates.
On specified “evaluation dates” dates, you will upload your MKT 2250 take-home assessment journal to be evaluated and
graded. Reason for this process: To keep you from procrastinating and staying engaged in the class discussions.
þ Please refer to the detailed course outline, assignment table/selected questions, and rubric, scheduled assignment
dates/time due.
«FACILITATORS«
þ If you are the student facilitators, you are required to present, lead, facilitate (ask the questions, probe for answers), and
review the assigned course readings and questions.
þ Please review the facilitator rubric prior to beginning this assignment.
þ If you are a facilitator, you do not have to submit a written homework assignment. The facilitator(s) must submit a
PowerPoint® to CANVAS®.
þ Upload your PowerPoint® and any other sources to CANVAS® used the day the assignment is due.
«ALL STUDENTS«
þ You must read the required reading each week. Even if you opt out of the assignments, you are required to read the
questions / cases and be ready to discuss.
þ Missed assignments cannot be made up.
