Presenting the Mark Degree to Craft Masons
PROVINCIAL GRAND LODGE
MARK MASTER MASONS
SOMERSET
An Introduction to Mark Masonry
The Friendly Degree
One of the Provincial Grand Master’s initiatives since taking office was to find ways to actively promote
the Mark degree within Somerset Craft Lodges.
Following discussion with PGM R.W. Bro David Medlock, it was agreed that this could officially be done
and was therefore given the green light. A power Point presentation was subsequently prepared for use
at Craft meetings, if the Brethren so desired.
A communication was sent to all Craft Lodge secretaries from the Provincial office advising them of this
presentation and giving them permission to receive it in open Lodge.
The presentation is delivered by three of the Mark Provincial team and it does give a very interesting
insight into many aspects of this Friendly degree.
We would ask all Mark Masons to consider promoting this in their Craft Lodges and if you have a
month with no ceremony then we would be delighted to visit and make this presentation.
If anyone is interested in having this presentation then please contact:
