The Purple Frog said in a voice that carried to all, “Welcome my
friends to this pond and our ball!
It is so wonderful to see you here.” He lifted his cane waving,
“Bring yourselves near.”
Grandma Polly found a large rock and sat down, and then from
her bag she pulled out the tiny crown.
She said to the frog. “After the storm in your hast to flee, you left
this tiny gold crown with me.”
Jacob spoke, his voice bold, “That holds your magic, or so we
were told.
We wanted to make sure it was returned. We know you must have
been very concerned.”
“Thank you so very much!” the frog said with a bow. He then sat
the crown over his brow.
