Annual Training & Assessment – CPD
How MOT Annual Training Works
All MOT testers must now complete at least three hours of MOT training and

pass an assessment between 1 April and 31 March each year to keep their
tester status.
Once you have completed and recorded at least three hours of annual training
on the topics required by DVSA, you must pass an online MOT annual
assessment. If you do not take your assessment during the training year, it
could affect your testing status and potentially lead to disciplinary action being
taken against you.
During the course we will cover all areas of the required training whilst our
qualified trainers will be on hand throughout the course and exam to ensure
you pass. Depending on the option you chose we will provide you with a
training log and certificate on the day.
At The Test Centre we provide the following options
1. 3 Hours In-house training with a certificate, online Assessment and Training
Log.
2. Online annual training, certificate and annual assessment and training log.
3. Assessment only and Training Log
