Level 3 Light Vehicle Inspection
Eligibility
If you do not have any qualifications or accreditations, this course is the first step in
becoming a qualified MOT tester.
Course Overview
This IMI Accreditation is a practical way to demonstrate individual capability,
providing independent proof of current competence, knowledge, and skills.
By the end of this course you will have gained the skills and knowledge required to
perform a vehicle inspection.
The Light Vehicle Inspection route is intended for technicians whose job role
involves the inspection, maintenance, and repair of light vehicles.

• 1-Day Assessment only qualification (for the talented and experienced
technician)
