2. Safety Seminars on Electrical Safety aspects

Safety seminars were conducted at depot level and sensitized the staff on electrical safety
aspects. Motivated all the staff to inspect and identify/observe if any discoloration of terminal
connections and loose connections at MCB‟s, joints, bus bars and attend immediately.

3. Special drive for checking of electrical installations including earth resistance

 A special drive has been conducted at Service buildings, Staff quarters, Stations & LC Gates for
ensuring safety measures like tightness of all the connections, joints and terminations in MDBs &
SDBs. Also ensured earth continuity, maintenance of earth pits carried out, checked load sharing
in circuits and ensured tightness of neutral connections.

4. Coverage and publicity through media.

 Door to door Campaign was done for creating awareness on fire safety measures and
also Banners displayed in front of Service buildings and Major Stations over the Division.
