5. Fire Audit and functioning of fire detection and fire-fighting equipment at RailNilayam,
Divisional offices and NSG-1/NSG-2 Stations

 Fire Audit and functioning of fire detection and fire-fighting equipment at Rail Nilayam by
Committee of Junior Scale officers of Engg, Security, S&T and Electrical departments. Ensured
working of Fire alarm system at Rail Nilayam & Hyderabad Bhavan. Mock drill conducted at Rail
Nilayam in presence of CEGE/SC along with other officials of HQs.

6. Screening of panels with Thermal Imaging Camera:

As a fire safety measure, all the protection switchgear (MCBs/MCCBs) in MDB panels
were checked with thermal screening by Thermal Imaging Camera at Rail Nilayam and
Central Hospital and ensured the tightness of the terminations in switchgear.

7. Safety drive on CLS Panels

Intensive fire safety drive on CLS panels was carried out over the division. Joint check is
being carried out with TRD and S&T Supervisors on power supply cable sizes, earthing,
output voltage, cable terminations, condition of fuses and their ratings etc.
