The National Water Resources Committee or NWRC is the highest organization that has the duty to manage water
resources of the nation at the policy level in all dimensions. The Office of the National Water Resources or ONWR is the
secretariat for administrative work, screening and proposing suggestions on various issues, setting the water way plan and
advising and supporting the work of the River Basin Committee. Also, the Office is tasked with monitoring and evaluating the
work progress according to the project plan to be in line with the 20-year Master Plan on Water Resources Management.

As for the ONWR Regional offices 1 - 4, it will serve as the secretariat of the River Basin Committee, support administrative
work, and study and research on water resources to contribute to the Master Plan of the river basins. It is also tasked with coordination,
support and monitoring, and proposing measures to the River Basin Committee for the most effective water management.
All 3 organizations will work in unison to solve water-related issues to create a unified approach towards equal access
to water use for the people.
