The use of public water resources for industry, tourism industry, electric power
generation, water supply and other parties. This type of usage requires permission
from relevant agencies, on a case-by-case basis. The heads of agencies authorized to
grant permission are such as the Directors-General of the Royal Irrigation Department,
Department of Water Resources or Departmant of Ground Water Resources, with the
approval of the Committee on River Basin.
