Other dads, mums, friends, neighbours, the full team, and
even the team’s mascot, the little dog Marley, who
everybody loved, climbed aboard the rickety old market
truck.
Pais, mães, amigos, vizinhos, a equipe toda e até o
mascote do time, o cachorrinho Marley, amado por todos,
sobem no velho caminhão de feira.
The smell of bananas in the truck was strong. But the
excitement was even stronger. They were all so very
excited. And off they go to the other side of the city.
The two teams faced each other on the pitch. They are
ready.
O cheiro de banana é forte no caminhão, mas a
empolgação é ainda maior, e todos estão muito animados.
Então partem para o outro lado da cidade.
As duas equipes se enfrentam em campo. Estão prontas.
