Lucas gently went to Zé’s defence. Not wanting to upset
their mother and knowing how much she wanted her boys
to do well. He said calmly “Querida Ana, let him try. It
won’t harm him trying, he is good enough now you know
many people tell us. Let him go and try to play for Santos.
He must have the chance.”
Lucas tenta defender Zelé, mas com bastante cuidado.
Ele não quer aborrecer a mãe do menino e sabe o
quanto ela quer que seus filhos se deem bem na vida.
Ele fala calmamente: “Ana, querida, deixe ele fazer o
teste. Não faz mal tentar, ele joga bem e muita gente
nos diz isso. Vamos deixar que ele vá fazer o teste para
o Santos. Ele tem chance”.
