required for a novel this was not in the same

league. I was pleased with the initial result and

wanted and asked my editor to send it to Nellie for

her review; at the same time, I used the name

Guillerme Antonio Nogueira as the author:

disguising completely my own involvement.

Guillerme you will soon realise is the Portuguese

version for William: likewise, Antonio is my middle

name of Anthony: Nogueira was my editor’s

surname. So Guillerme Antonio Nogueira was

born.

Regular weekly meetings were held as the World

Bank Project developed and at the next meeting

Nellie had with her the manuscript of Pele from the

author Guillerme Antonio Nogueira. She explained
