“Coming to Millfield has been a life changing experience. I was initially
worried that I wouldn’t fit in as it was such a different environment from what
I was used to in London, but I was definitely proven wrong! One of the things
that stood out to me was how diverse the school was, with students and
teachers from all over the world. This crossing of cultures, religions and beliefs
is something that makes this school so unique.
I am surrounded by so many talented individuals who want to succeed,
and this motivates me to reach far beyond the stars and discover my own
brilliance. Although it can seem challenging some days, I know that iron
sharpens iron – being surrounded by such amazing individuals will aid me in
my development and help me to become the best version of myself. In the
future I would love to help others like me to get into Millfield. I am confident
that Millfield will help give me the wings I need to soar and succeed!”

“I previously lived and attended a state school in Tottenham, North London
and before I joined Millfield, I can honestly say that I didn’t really
have any aspirations or passions in life. However, with the help
of my academic scholarship, joining Millfield opened my eyes
to the world. I’m currently vice captain of the Millfield U18
First team basketball and have found a great passion for the
sport. One thing I love about Millfield is the
diversity of students coming from all over
the world; it provides a unique mixture of
culture which gives you a real experience.
My bursary has benefitted me
enormously and honestly changed my
life. I am able to do the sports I love,
subjects I am interested in while
also being able to be entertained
by events that are constantly
taking place at school.”
