SWIMMING POOL
Athletics Track The Grange was built in 1845 by a Quaker called Robert Impey,
and was called Askew House, later becoming Portway House.
His daughter, Catherine Impey wrote and published Britain's
Q Swimming Pool first anti-racist periodical, 'Anti-Caste', between 1888 and 1895.
Car Park
Her family invited guests from all around the world to stay with
T Butleigh
Kingweston them, setting the tone for a global mindset that we embrace
Keen’s Elm Field
S within our Millfield community. Our vision for The Grange is
for every young person to personify the school values of being
R
kind, being authentic and being disruptors, much like the original
occupants of the house.
Entry to
Sports Campus Each boarder will leave having embraced all that our wonderful
school has to offer. They will be equipped for the wider world,
having learned about themselves, their studies and activities, and
with friends for life.
Equestrian Paddocks Butleigh I wish you all a very warm welcome to The Grange – we are
Field
delighted to have you as part of the family.
