Separation
A cash payment of 18 times the basic monthly pension at the time of
separation and a life pension to start at age 60 will be given to those who separate
from the service with at least 15 years service and are below 60 years of age.
Clothing Allowance
The provision on annual clothing allowance is an additional economic aid for
permanent or temporary faculty members. This amount of Php 6000 is given to a
faculty annually.
Compulsory Life Insurance
A permanent faculty is entitled to an automatic endowment insurance based
on the specified criteria in the IFSU Code.
Sickness Income Benefits
This is for non-work connected sickness or injury that results in temporary
or total disability. It is available after a member has exhausted all his/her sick leave
credits but not earlier that the fourth day of sickness or injury.
Medical Benefits
All eligible members of the GSIS under Medicare Program (now Phil. Health)
shall immediately and automatically be made members of the National Health
Insurance Program (NHIP) and are entitled to free medical services.
f. 4 Privileges
The faculty members are provided with Study Grants for the following:
a) Professional Development Incentive Program (PDIP)
b) Tuition Fee Waiver
c) Sabbatical Leave
Payment of overload teaching compensation and honorarium for rendered
special service. Overload for the first six (6) units is given service credit with the
excess thereafter and all teaching loads for the undergraduate program are paid
depending upon the availability of funds.
Remuneration is given to the faculty who rendered service in relation to the
practice of his/her professional expertise as thesis adviser, critic reader, data
analyst.
