EVAN FERGUSON…..

         PERSONAL BIOGRAPHY (CONT)

 ARE YOU WILLING TO COMEBACK TO YOUR COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTEER TO

 MOTIVATE OTHER YOUNG BLACK STUDENTS? -Of course. Whenever my community needs me or I feel I
am needed, I will definitely come back. Seeing young black students succeed is one of the things that I
            love to see the most.

HOW WILL YOU HANDLE THESE CHALLENGES ?

         FACING ADVERSITY -

Facing adversity is something that everyone will have to go through at sometime in their lifetime. Some

more than others. My motivation is that the future is bright and whatever tough spot you’re in will be over
soon. I have been in many personal situations where I want to run away and avoid it but I choose to face it
head on and end up having a great outcome.

          KEEPING YOU FAITH

Going to church and being baptized at a young age truly has set me up for success for the rest of my life. I
have been through a lot of rough times whether that be domestic abuse, loved ones having cancer, and
self confidence issues, God has always put me in a position to win at the end of the day and I’m very
         grateful for that.

         STAYING COMMITTED TO ACHIEVEMENT .

Academic Success is something I have always struggled with. Procrastination was one of the main factors
that held me back from my full potential as a student. As I transition to college, I want to get rid of these
bad habits because I have seen how impactful staying on a focused path is. My individual development and
spiritual growth can always be improved as well. Setting goals is easy but staying consistent is what really
separates those who want it and those who don’t. Whether that be relationships, health, financial stability
or my relationship with Christ, staying committed will grant the best results at the end of the day.
