During 2016, Minerva had relations with 4,684 suppliers, with all farmers and properties subject to envi- ronmental impact assessments.  erefore, actual signi cant impacts are considered when assessing the list of embargoed areas, made available by the Brazilian Institute of the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (IBAMA), and analysis of geospatial monitoring, a method used to  nd deforestation polygons on properties within the Amazon Biome.  is allowed for 70 suppliers to be identi ed based on IBAMA demands and 546 properties based on deforestation, resulting in 2% for the former criterion and 12% for the later criterion. Please note that are no relationships with properties under IBAMA embargo or with areas identi ed by the National Institute of Space Research (INPE) through the PRODES deforestation report; nevertheless, if the supplier shows another area suited for supply of raw material, a relationship remains with the Company.

In the period covered by the report, the Company only had one grievance, submitted through the website and not through a formal grievance mechanism.  e report was resolved during the year. A formal mecha- nism for the external public was implemented in 2017.
